Responsibilities Include:

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager I to join the AWS Infra Planning and Source team. This role will be focused on leading end to end ordering process (seeking forecast, obtaining quotes and creating purchase orders (PO)). This role will also manage supply chain analysis in support of Data Center Operation and Regional Planning teams. This role will ensure correct PO placement in compliance with procurement policy. Manage and Monitor overall spend and trends for IPS Spares Program.

Key leadership traits required include the ability to influence and form strong partnerships with vendors, internal business stakeholders and operational excellence in managing multiple complex and competing priorities simultaneously.

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Manage all aspects of purchasing, from quotes, PR issuance through material receipt and payment support.

  • Develop efficient and accurate processes/metrics for monitoring and updating open POs to achieve on-time-delivery.

  • Support Fulfillment team for day to day PR/PO related issues such as PO modifications for EOL, MOQ, etc.,

  • Flexible to accommodate working across different time zones, since IPS team and vendors are based globally

  • Address day to day tactical and strategic supply chain issues

  • Engage with Business, Vendors and Internal stakeholders for Procurement and Fulfill the spares requirement

  • Analyze PO data from numerous databases (using Excel, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed

-Support Fulfillment team as needed.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, or other related disciplines.

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, Ordering, Fulfillment, in-stock management, forecast, demand or supply planning

  • 1+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Excel or basic SQL skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently, strong attention to detail and a passion for driving process improvement.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired

  • Experience in program managing complex projects

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $55,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $120,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
