Position Summary

Site Reliability engineering is a core discipline at F5 for many roles. As a Site Reliability engineer specializing in site reliability, you will bring a software engineering and automated solution mindset to your work.

 

The Site Reliability Engineer III will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and scalability of critical systems and SaaS platforms. Systems under the care of an SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) III must operate effectively and reliably through scalable builds and deployments, frequent releases, and complex architectures that encompass modern technologies. You will work closely with technical and non-technical teams throughout the organization to facilitate the design and implementation of scalable solutions, drive automation initiatives, and monitor and maintain the performance of critical systems.

 

  • Active Directory and associated systems
  • Windows server & Virtualization support experience.
  • Various Microsoft Windows Server Roles/Features.
  • Working experience with Azure AD & O365 (Exchange).
  • Experience with Server automation and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Working experience with Data Center & Infrastructure management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

     

What You will Do

Apply modern engineering principles and practices to operational functions and employ this methodology throughout the full system lifecycle; from initial concept and architecture through deployment, daily operation, and overall optimization, and apply these practices to refining existing systems.

  • Support and maintain technology systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
  • Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms such as automation and evolve systems by fostering changes that improve velocity.
  • Good experience in Dell & Cisco UCS Enclosure, Blade & Rack systems, essential for hardware infrastructure management and troubleshooting hardware issues.
  • Managing SAN, NAS storage and backup infra solutions, e.g., Pure Array, NetApp & Commvault.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure (servers, storage, backup) and data center management.
  • Manage datacenter vendor remote team to rack/stack and cable new servers, decommission old servers and manage system inventory.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for the administration and maintenance of on-premises and cloud-

based systems, including server hardware, storage, and virtualization technologies.

Minimum 3 years experience directly administering and managing Microsoft Active Directory in a medium-large production environment.

Excellent hands-on experience and skills with operating systems (Windows 2016/2019/2022), and general IT infrastructure operations.

MigrationUpgrade of Domain Controllers to latest OS versions, Troubleshooting Replication issues.

Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS & Windows cluster services related issues.

Implementing and troubleshooting share level and security level permissions on files and folders.
