We are hiring Sr. Technical program manager who leverages deep technology, process and domain expertise to drive execution across multiple interdependent projects within a program; ensures outcomes delivery on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality.

The successful candidate will possess both technical and program execution skills. You will be able to drive discussions with senior technical and management personnel within customers and partners, as well as the technical background that enables them to interact with and give guidance to AI scientist, engineers, and software developers. What is of critical importance, the candidate will be an excellent technical program manager, someone who can demonstrate strong technical leadership.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Manage execution of software and data delivery platforms teams that are service-oriented with reusable components across teams (multiple teams) that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses.

  • Define execution methodologies and project management practices to be followed by all projects within the program

  • Organize project teams comprising from internal and external technical and functional experts based on budget, scope and timeline

  • Manage day-to-day execution of multiple interdependent projects by working directly with global technical teams

  • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required

  • Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project

  • Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including leadership and executives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer engineering, computer science with minimum of 10+ years experience Or Masters degree in Computer Science/Engineering with 6+ years of experience.

  • 3+ years of experience working in software engineering, including the design and development of highly scalable web services/APIs

  • Must be willing to work out af an office located in the greater Seattle Area

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change across an organization

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of various project and portfolio management methodologies with track record of implementing shared standards for large organizations

  • Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and / or industry activities

  • Experience in one area of computer science (e.g., Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization),

  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C/C++, etc.) In depth experience with Spark/Hadoop and either PyTorch/Tensorflow.

  • Experience with one or more cloud technologies is a plus

  • Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives

  • Change oriented – actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly

  • PMP, ScrumMaster or related Project Management certifications

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $145,456.00-$218,184.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
