Amazon Sr. Product Manager - Tech, Alexa Shopping in Seattle, Washington

Description

We are re-imaging and re-inventing Alexa Shopping features by using the recent advancements in Gen AI and LLM technologies, making Shopping on Alexa even more delightful and helpful for millions of customers globally. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager Tech to join Alexa Shopping's Post-Purchase Experiences team. Our features provide solutions to a wide-range of customer needs, including receiving useful information on orders placed (e.g., order tracking), accessing post-purchase support (e.g. returns and refunds), and helping discover and get the most out of their Amazon benefits and subscriptions in ways that feel personal and relevant.

This leader defines and drives the product strategy while balancing competing launch priorities and building scalable and reusable architecture. You partner well with UX Design, engineering, science, and operations job families to conceive and launch new LLM-enabled shopping features. This is a strategic role to shape the roadmap and vision for Alexa Shopping's post-purchase experiences.

Key job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Define a long term vision for conversational experiences that leverage LLM technologies to meet post-purchasing needs of customers.

• Drive requirements definition, CX design, compliance, feature development priority, and product messaging.

• Define and own business metrics for customer engagement, CX quality, and operational reliability.

• Evaluate technical alternatives and decompose significantly complex problems into straightforward technical propositions.

• Build scalable architecture and solutions that scale across regions and locales.

• Design mechanisms to ensure long-term product or business success.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
