Amazon Sr. Product Manager, Licensed Sports in Seattle, Washington

Come build the future of sports shopping as a Senior Product Manager on Amazon’s Licensed Sports team, where you will be inspired working alongside best-in-class inventors, innovators, and sports fans. Amazon Licensed Sports is building the future of sports shopping and working to bring fans the best customer experience possible. The Licensed Sports team is responsible for the customer experience, retail partnerships, selection expansion, and fan engagement and marketing strategies across professional leagues like the NFL, NBA, WNBA, and NHL, as well as collegiate properties. The Licensed Sports team is a fast growing, and strategically imperative business within Amazon Stores, and we’re looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Product Manager to join our team.

In this role, you will use a combination of thought leadership, analytical skills, cross-functional partnership, business judgment, and strategic thinking to innovate on behalf of sports fans. You will thrive working cross-functionally with sports-oriented teams across Amazon to build and execute cross-company initiatives focused on engaging and acquiring new sports fans. You will have the opportunity to lead work-streams across CX, selection, marketing, legal, finance, and more. You will tackle novel, challenging situations every day and given the size of this initiative, you’ll have the opportunity to work with multiple teams across Amazon.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • Proven analytical skills and quantitative skills with demonstrated ability to manage the business by the numbers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience in delivering end-to-end customer research studies, including study design, fieldwork (qualitative research moderation and survey execution), analysis, recommendations, reporting and presentation of results to senior leadership

  • Experience working in, or a strong passion for, the business of sports

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
