About the Role: As a member of the Editorial team, you will spend each day immersed in the private markets, aiming to help our customers be better investors, advisors, and market participants. There is no better time to join us! Our Institutional Research Group is looking for an experienced analyst to join our Healthcare and Life Sciences coverage. As a valued team member, you'll hone your existing analytical skills, develop meaningful insight into a fascinating industry, and contribute to our best-in-class private capital research. The research this team produces is utilized by many of the largest private capital investors, investment banks and service providers globally. Our team is creative, driven, and focused on providing the most actionable research to our readers and clients. Primary Job Responsibilities: Drive PitchBook's private market healthcare coverage by tracking venture capital and private equity deal activity, market trends, and product innovation Publish quarterly updates and other notes with a focus on trends in Healthcare Services and Healthtech, highlighting valuations, deal activity, and emerging trends Manage direct-to-client distribution channels for published notes and reports Engage with investor and corporate clients to support thesis development, industry networking, due diligence, competitive intelligence, market mapping, business development, and other use cases Manage and maintain relevant datasets using the PitchBook platform that include company ecosystems, deals, investors, funds, and valuation to support client use cases Engage with clients via online and in-person meetings to discuss research and support sales strategies Contribute to ongoing efforts to streamline internal processes to help scale research output to meet growing client-demand for research and insights Shape research offerings by understanding client needs and developing innovative solutions using proprietary data and partnerships Serve as research point of contact for various speaking engagements and press requests Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired
