Role Purpose
LevelTen Energys mission is to accelerate the energy transition by facilitating frictionless transactions. We deliver the cloud-based software, centralized supply, automated analytics, data, and transaction expertise required to accelerate carbon-free energy transactions. LevelTen Energy is looking for a highly motivated, results-driven sales professional to articulate the value of the LevelTen platform to renewable energy developers, Independent Power Producer and Utilities. Our sales team combines deep product and industry knowledge, with a commitment to understand our clients unique challenges and deliver innovative solutions. A LevelTen Account Executive is a brand ambassador, and a crucial part of the growth of the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead Subscription Sales with a goal of achieving an annual ARR target in an assigned account segment of energy producers.
- Lead full sales cycles from prospect to close of platform subscription sales, with a goal of achieving an annual ARR target in an assigned account segment of energy producers.
- Teaming with assigned Account Managers, negotiate commercial terms for subscription renewals.
- Build brand visibility within the developer community by attending conferences, building a network of stakeholders in the industry and being visible by speaking at conferences to attract new developers to the LevelTen network.
- Become the expert in how to be indispensable to the assigned segment and represent your customers needs to marketing, product and executives informing our go-to-market strategy.
- Team Selling: Aligns with the full capacities of the account team, specially Account Managers from the Developer Engagement team to support the deal and customer success.
- Provide up-to-date and accurate forecasts by actively updating customer and opportunity records in the companys CRM system;
- Support communications strategy, including PR, social media, events, newsletters, thought leadership pieces, white papers, conferences, etc.
- Travel up to 25% of the time
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years enterprise selling within energy related industries
- 7+ years full sales cycle experience with established sales methods such as MEDDIC, Challenger, Solutions Selling
- Experience selling to Directors, VPs and C-Suite executives
- Professional fluency in English is required
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills, both in person and via Zoom
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A can-do attitude, strong sense of urgency, and ability to see opportunity where others see a closed door.
- Proven track record of consistent goal/quota attainment;
- Discipline in regard to CRM use and detailed data entry
- Ability to thrive in a constantly changing and evolving work environment;
Bonus Points:
- Experience in renewable energy origination, power trading, or energy risk management
- Experience selling web-based software as a service (SaaS)
- Fluent in German and additional European languages are highly valued
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM
Additional Details
This full-time position is based in LevelTen Energy Europes Madrid office or remote (preferably in Berlin). Salary and incentives commensurate with experience.
