Zillow, Inc. is seeking a Software Development Engineer for its Seattle, WA office.

Job Duties: Develop web services, operational workflows, and applications that serve as the foundation of the platform; iterate quickly, ship code frequently, and be responsible for the quality of Zillow's feature work through test automation and monitoring; research and pioneer the adoption and use of new technologies within Zillow, leveraging experience to solve problems throughout the tech stack; develop software applications using Java, JavaScript, C# or Python; design, code and debug web applications and backend services; apply knowledge of AWS, distributed systems, and/or app development.  Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field. Three (3) years of experience in: designing and developing large-scale, highly performant applications using an object-oriented programming language; Analyzing data and gleaning information using robust SQL Queries; and coordinate cross-functional and cross-team initiatives to deliver accessible and compliant software systems.

Alternate Requirements: Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science or a related field. Five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in: designing and developing large-scale, highly performant applications using an object-oriented programming language; Analyzing data and gleaning information using robust SQL Queries; and coordinate cross-functional and cross-team initiatives to deliver accessible and compliant software systems.

Salary: $182,312 to- $182,312 per year.
