Quality assurance/test engineer, responsible for designing, developing, and executing synthetic test scenarios on an in-house simulation test framework. Develop software test plans and perform automated and manual testing. Identify, track, report, and resolve functional software development teams. Maintain high-quality standards for driving software features using metrics and test results. Drive forward technical advancements in test frameworks and tools. Implement and develop test automation frameworks, implement new solutions to technical test problems, and build novel tools for our teams to utilize. Assist in accelerating product development by helping developers build the safest and most reliable autonomous driving software possible. Utilize Python, C++, Perforce, Git, OpenCV, JIRA, Confluence, Simulink, and TensorFlow, as well as Google Test frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodology. Domestic travel 3-4 times a year  to offices in Bay Area -- as required.

 Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field and five (5) years of progressive experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Engineer, Software Development Engineer in Test, or similar Software QA/test role. In the alternative, Employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Engineer, Software Development Engineer in Test, or similar Software QA/test role. Experience must include: Developing software test plans and performing automated and manual testing; Driving forward technical advancements in test frameworks and tools; Working with command line, bug tracking and reporting tools; and Utilizing Python, C++, Perforce, Git, OpenCV, JIRA, Confluence, Simulink, and TensorFlow, as well as Google Test frameworks and Agile/Scrum methodology.
