Job Description: The Data for Autonomous Aircraft (DA2) Team in Client is looking for a Software Development Engineer who will act as the first level of support and development, focusing on updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes and documentation of our systems. The ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development and is looking to utilize and expand their coding skills, gaining exposure ranging from embedded to cloud based software applications. Preferred coding skills 3+ years of experience and outstanding coding skills in C/C++ and Python and scripting in Linux shell scripts. Experience with hardware/software integration on embedded platforms, keen on investigating and prototyping new technologies and frameworks, writing and maintaining unit tests and automated integration tests. Employer will accept Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or a related field plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the specialty as equivalent to the Master's degree.
