We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join us on our journey to make it

drastically easier for customers to find, choose, afford, and engage with the services, products,

and professionals they need to get and stay healthy!

Key job responsibilities

As a SDET on this team, you will be leading test automation and infrastructure development, test new design and architectural choices which have a significant impact on our systems, our business and most importantly, our customers. You will be working directly with Developers, UX Designers, Product Managers, and TPMs to ensure quality development and quality of our applications and platforms.

The ideal candidate will have industry-leading technical abilities and excellent communication skills. This person should have a combination of in-depth knowledge of Quality Assurance, solid understanding of the mobile application software, and knowledge of object oriented design principles. The test software you build should expose defects in hardware, services, and application code as well as defects at component and feature integration levels.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture,

  • design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems for testing tools

  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience

  • Programming experience with at least one software programming language.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.

  • 3+ years of software engineering experience

  • 3+ years using Java, C/C++, or similar programming languages

  • Experience with AWS products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS products

  • Experience working with healthcare data or similar controlled data

  • 4+ years of software engineering experience in testing

  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities

  • Agile software development methodologies.

  • Experience with AI/ML test tooling

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
