As a Sr. Product Manager, Technical, on the Amazon Business - Negotiated Bid Response team you will have a high impact opportunity to serve business Customers as your customer. We are building new solutions to enable our global Enterprise business customers to find and buy products from the Amazon.com marketplace and be in compliance with their procurement and business policies. We are disrupting the status quo of B2B by delivering new, efficient solutions to individual proprietors, to small-medium businesses, to global organizations (and everything in between). We are relentlessly reinventing everything including expanding our selection, offering everyday low prices, improving the world-class delivery, and providing exceptional value to our business customers. This is a highly visible position, where you will interact with the senior management team within Amazon Business and the Consumer org.

Key job responsibilities

Develop product roadmaps, operating plans for Amazon Business across different customer cohorts.

Creating program goals and related metrics, track progress and manage through obstacles/blockers to achieve your objectives.

Work with a team of business owners, engineers, product managers, and technical program managers to define and execute a product roadmap to support B2B specific customer behavior.

Assimilate a large number of inputs from stakeholders, develop cohesive designs and functional specs, prioritize and deliver them in a successful and timely manner.

Lead business reviews with senior leadership across different verticals.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • 5+ years of Technical Product Management/E-commerce experience

  • analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions

  • A track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects. Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

  • Ability to think creatively, identify needle-moving customer solutions, deal with ambiguity, manage changing priorities within a matrixed organization

  • Experience influencing others and delivering results cross-functionally.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
