The AWS Supply Chain Finance Business Intelligence and Transformation (IFBIT) team is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Product Manager - Technical to lead the development and delivery of our critical financial planning, analytics, and cost management solutions.

In this role, you will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the IFBIT team's core product offerings to empower AWS Infrastructure finance and business leaders to make data-driven decisions that drive sustainable competitive advantage. You will be responsible for defining the product direction, developing a comprehensive roadmap, and driving successful execution in close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

• Define the product vision and strategy for the IFBIT team's portfolio, aligning it with the broader organizational goals and priorities.

• Develop a comprehensive product roadmap that addresses critical customer needs, drives continuous process improvements, and leverages emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and controllership.

• Partner extensively with finance and business stakeholders to deeply understand their requirements, translate them into actionable product plans, and drive cross-functional collaboration for successful delivery.

• Lead the design and development of the team's core products, including streamlining upstream and downstream data integration, improving data accuracy, and automating planning processes to achieve a truly hands-off, continuous planning experience.

• Identify opportunities to expand the team's analytics and reporting capabilities, such as enabling advanced forecasting, scenario planning, and total cost of ownership modeling.

• Effectively communicate the product vision, strategy, and progress to senior leadership, ensuring alignment and securing the necessary support and resources.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 4+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

  • Experience in an operational environment developing, fast-prototyping, piloting and launching analytic products

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

  • Expertise in financial planning, cost management, and business intelligence processes, with the ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

  • Demonstrated success in driving cross-functional collaboration and influencing senior stakeholders to achieve strategic business outcomes.

  • Understanding of AWS services and platforms, and the ability to contribute to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
