Key job responsibilities

Pack Hierarchy (PH) represents the different pack configurations in which a base product is packaged for logistical and merchandising purposes. PH information enables topline growth, cost savings, better customer experience, and operational efficiencies. However, the adoption of PH by Selling Partners has been slow, and Amazon aims to accelerate PH coverage scaling.

Instead of relying solely on Selling Partners to provide PH data, Amazon plans to explore internal data sources to derive PH and ingest this data into the catalog. The primary data sources being explored include Amazon Fulfillment Tech operations data, Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN), and a PH Detection model developed by the Applied Brain team.

This role will lead the cross-functional effort to derive PH from these multiple data sources, define the technical requirements and ingestion workflows, and drive the implementation of robust data pipelines to enable scaling of PH coverage in the catalog.
