The Amazon Key In-Garage Delivery team is inventing and implementing pioneering initiatives for secure delivery of products and services. We are focused on enhancing our customers’ experience through next generation technologies, and are seeking an exceptional, entrepreneurial Senior Product Manager-Tech with a technical background to help drive this mission.

As a Senior Product Manager-Tech, you will help build a product roadmap and a coherent customer experience across an array of applications that will continue to redefine how people manage secure delivery in their life. You will work closely with software and hardware engineering teams, program managers, user experience designers, marketing managers, and with other internal Amazon product stakeholders across the company, as well as with Key’s external network of strategic partners. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, and who is sensitive to the diverse perspectives of stakeholders and works with them to resolve differences. We’re looking for customer experience-minded entrepreneurs who are passionate about innovating on behalf of customers, demonstrate a high degree of product ownership, and want to have fun while making history.

It is still Day 1 at Amazon, and we need a creative problem-solver with exceptional judgment and the ability to deliver business results under ambiguous circumstances and tight timelines. The ideal candidate has a passion for smart home combined with an established track record delivering break-out software experiences.

A day in the life

  • Lead end-to-end Amazon Key In-Garage Delivery customer experience product roadmap and execution plan

  • Define the long-term strategy and vision for customers using secure delivery

  • Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand and improve product capabilities

  • Analyze customer feedback and usage metrics to identify pain points and feature improvement opportunities

  • Build innovative concepts and successfully champion them through senior management and other teams

  • Drive requirement definition and customer experience design

  • Define and own the business metrics and KPIs for our products and services

  • Partner across the Amazon ecosystem to understand their customer needs and influence adoption of new services

An exclusive Prime benefit, Amazon Key In-Garage Delivery securely delivers packages inside a customer's garage for added protection when a they are away. We've completed over 60MM in-garage deliveries worldwide and counting! Amazon Key serves as the connective tissue between Smart Home/Devices, Logistics, Operations, and Retail/Shopping. We are a team of inventors and disruptors, and we index highly on ownership, bias for action, think big, and deliver results.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • Master's degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
