Senior Manager, Finance & Strategy - Grocery, DoorDash, Inc., Seattle, WA. Build and maintain robust financial models to develop the New Verticals segment of DoorDash's Marketplace. Using data analytics to oversee the overall success of U.S. grocers on the DoorDash platform. Form a strong end-to-end vision on what it means for the grocery product to be affordable for consumers. Extract insights from large scale data sets, build business cases for new products, and work cross functionally to track the financial and operating performance of the business segment. Improve the profitability, scalability, and defensibility of New Verticals' business model, partnering with teams across the company. Run independent and additional ops-led Affordability tests to lead the platform and product teams in forming a stronger end-to-end consumer affordability vision. Liaise between consumers and our cross functional partners, finance, the merchant pod, and the consumer team and represent the DoorDash Grocery consumers throughout organizational and cross functional plans, meetings, and decision-making processes. Analyze data to better understand the complex relationships in the business tied to online ordering, order fulfillment, etc. Evaluate the growth as well as financial implications and trade-offs of various business actions. Utilize advanced financial modeling skills and develop a holistic strategy for merchant pricing changes the team can make to grow a particular area of the business. Oversight of business intelligence and data analytics teams to confirm and validate changes related to the financial data being stored in the database(s). Telecommuting Permitted. (SMFSG-S-102-WA)

Salary Range: $163,400 - $245,200/yr.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field plus six (6) years of experience in Data Analytics, Retail Finance, Economics, or related occupation.

Experience must include at least four (4) years in at least six (6) of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):

• Large scale business data analysis;
• Financial accounting;
• Financial modeling and forecasting;
• Financial P&L management;
• Reporting in Excel;
• Identifying customer operations and developing business strategies to meet target consumer need;
• Financial data project management;
• SOX compliance or internal controls; and,
• Business Intelligence (BI) or analytics & visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Chartio.

Up to 10% domestic travel required based on business need.
