Description
Amazon seeks an Senior Financial Analyst to play a key role on the Alexa and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) Insights, Planning, Econometrics and Decision (IPED) finance team. This role will be responsible for driving broad insights that can shape the Alexa and AGI financial strategies, including the GAAP and econometric P&L used to inform short and long term investment decisions. The successful candidate will build scalable analyses, key performance indicators and insights. These insights will be shared with the Alexa and AGI Business and Finance Leadership teams to inform strategic decision making.
This position will work closely with multiple stakeholders across the organization (e.g. Devices and Services FP&A, leaders within the Alexa and AGI Finance organizations, and cross-organizational business and finance teams) to align on critical inputs, ranges of outcomes, and confidence intervals. Basic Qualifications
3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
MBA, or CPA
Knowledge of Tableau
Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
