Slalom LLC Senior Data Science Consultant in Seattle, Washington

Our Seattle Data & Analytics practice is looking to add an enthusiastic Senior Data Scientist Consultant to our locally based team. What You'll Do * Apply fundamental and advanced quantitative methods, including machine learning and statistical modeling, to solve complex business problems and enable data-driven decision-making (e.g., build statistical and machine learning models for trend analysis and forecasting to predict future business outcomes for a Fortune 100 company) * Collaborate with client data science teams to enhance, scale, and operationalize existing models * Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Provide thought leadership on the latest ML/AI technologies and applications to client industry and use cases * Lead and participate in solutioning sessions, working hand-in-hand with businesses/clients, translating business objectives into actionable machine learning/data science use cases What You'll Bring * Production-level experience with core quantitative analysis techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, or natural language processing) in a consulting environment * Quantitative background with relevant experience using data to solve problems and answer questions * Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and experience with libraries/frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn * Experience with cloud and modern data science tools and platforms such as Databricks MLFlow, GCP BigQuery, AWS SageMaker, Kubeflow, and Azure ML * Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI * Knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principles, and practices About Us Slalom is a purpose-led, global business and technology consulting company.
