Nordstrom Senior Business Analyst - Supplier Operations - HYBRID in Seattle, Washington

Job Description

The Sr Business Analyst is a key member of the Supplier Operations Systems & Data team, leveraging analysis skills to help drive compliance and supply chain efficiencies.

The Analyst role will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to improve decision making related to Supplier Operations within Nordstrom Supply Chain and Inventory Operations. The ideal candidate should have a high degree of curiosity about the business and the skills to discover impactful insights from data and communicate those insights in a way that builds confidence and enables decisions that drive business value.

A day in the life...

  • Own and drive analysis efforts for projects within and outside the Supplier Operations team

  • Ability to translate needs of the customer into effective and valuable solutions

  • Perform data queries for both recurring and ad hoc reporting requests

  • Evaluate work and apply different tools and methodologies to achieve required outcomes

  • Collaborate with immediate team members and external project teams across the business

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for compliance data and metrics

  • Support the analysis and diagnosis of end to end supplier performance

  • Source data to support the creation of Tableau dashboards

  • Maintain Tableau dashboards

  • Ensure compatibility between processes and systems and data

  • Design and execute detailed plans to provide data driven insights

  • Identify complex problems, understand cause and impact

    You own this if you have…

  • BA/BS in Business, supply chain, a related discipline or equivalent relevant work experience

  • 4-6 years of BA experience

  • SQL experience preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills – both verbal and written

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task and keep multiple projects and issues on track simultaneously

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $80,000 - $132,000 Annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
