As we embark on a large-scale program to build Salesforce capabilities, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce Architect SME to join our dynamic team.. Job Description: As a Salesforce Architect SME, you will play a pivotal role in the success of large-scale Salesforce programs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and government stakeholders. You will design, architect, and oversee the implementation of scalable and robust Salesforce solutions that align with our mission of delivering innovative technology solutions to government agencies, using the right mix of Salesforce and non-Salesforce tools, technologies, and platforms. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary technical expert and advisor on Salesforce architecture and best practices. Lead the design and development of complex Salesforce solutions, ensuring adherence to architectural principles, scalability, and maintainability. Collaborate with government stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs. Provide guidance and mentorship to developers and administrators, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices. Drive innovation by evaluating new Salesforce features, technologies, and tools, and recommending their adoption where appropriate. Act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce integration patterns, data modeling, and performance optimization. Lead and participate in cross-functional workshops, meetings, and discussions to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and drive alignment. Partner with project managers to estimate effort, plan project timelines, and manage deliverables effectively. Stay abreast of Salesforce platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to inform architectural decisions and drive continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 10 years experience; advanced degree preferred. Salesforce certifications such as Certified Application Architect, Certified System Architect, or Certified Technical Architect strongly preferred.
