This recruitment offers a $10,000 Signing Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the outpatient Cardiac Catheterization Cath Lab. WORK SCHEDULE:

  • 100% FTE

  • Days, 10-hr shifts (4 per week with rotating day off)

  • ‘On-Call’ shifts DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION: The Cath Lab RN provides direct and indirect patient care in Cath Lab procedures. They effectively communicate with physicians and other staff about changes in the patient’s condition, including hemodynamic monitoring and symptomatology. The RN responds quickly and accurately to changes or needs based on the patient assessments. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Opportunity to provide career growth PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ongoing care of procedural patients, providing moderate sedation per UWMC policy, documentation in EPIC, monitoring and circulating diagnostic and complex interventional cardiology procedures

  • May participate in performance improvement and CQI activities within the department

  • Takes Cath Lab “On-Call” after regular department hours according to a monthly schedule REQUIREMENTS:

  • Active WA State or Multi-State RN License by start date

  • Current BLS and ACLS
