Restoration Technician / Carpenter
Overview:
· Pay: $30 to $40 an hour
· Location: Seattle, WA

Job Description:
Candidates will be working on team that covers Western Washington operations for Restoration projects on Residential, Commercial, and other types of spaces. They will be involved in all aspects of the restoration process from start to finish of reconstruction.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
· Take direction from experienced carpenters and supervisors.
· Move and protect contents without causing damage.
· Construct appropriate containment for construction dust, dirt, and airborne contaminants in the working area.
· Use appropriate tools and methods to perform tasks related to flood cutting, salvaging, and labeling baseboards, cabinets, doors, etc.
· Develop full knowledge of materials, including types, purposes, grades, and uses for trims, doors, and cabinetry.
· Develop proficiency in installing various forms of insulation.
· Under supervision, develop full knowledge of framing, trim installation, and cabinetry installation.
· Under supervision, learn to "dry-in" a building as it relates to roofing material installation.
· Learn and understand MSDS protocols for chemicals used during mitigation processes.
· Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain vehicles in clean, serviceable condition.
· Maintain attention to detail and safeguard other people's property.
· Have a comprehensive understanding of customer service principles and practices.
· Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
· Be available to work nights and weekends as requested and travel periodically.
· Attend operations and safety training courses as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
· 3+ years of experience as restoration and/or finish carpenter
· Must have your own basic hand and power tools
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints for renovations and upgrades

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
