Zayo is seeking a Relocation Project Specialist to assist the Manager in managing all tasks related to relocation projects. The Relocation Project Specialist is primarily responsible for the daily, monthly, and quarterly tasks associated with the Relocation Projects. The Relocation Project Specialist role requires strong attention to detail, strong organizational and time management, and ability to work closely with the Manager and vendors independently. Personal communication skills are critical, as this role demands constant interaction across various teams including operations, finance, accounting, legal, and billing. Responsibilities Assist in reviewing details of each project, i.e., scope, costs, and schedule. Create internal tasks and capital projects. Adjust budget forecasts and manage costs revisions. Assist Manager in creating contracts for reimbursement. Manage reimbursement, cost recovery, and billing tasks. Work in a cross-functional environment with Outside Plant Managers, Fiber Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Legal, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, and Billing. Assist Manager in creating / maintaining reports and analyzing data to established metrics. Assist with forecasting and reporting against financial targets and project goals. Assist with month-end and quarter-end close and reporting responsibilities. Assist with the preparation of presentations (internal and external) of financial and operational business results and analysis. Qualifications Bachelors' Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in project management. Minimum of 5 (five) years of telecom experience, preferred. Strong reporting and data management skills: ability to define goals, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently and effectively. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills in fast paced environment. Strong project management and communication skills. Must have an understanding of project management, i.e., scope of work, costs, quality, and schedule. Proficiency in the MS Office and Google suite with specific experience in Excel / Google Sheets and PowerPoint / Slides is required. Knowledge of Salesforce.com platform is a plus, including SiteTracker. Strong attention to detail, superb organizational skills, and ability to multi-task and prioritize workload. Ability to understand the fundamentals of Dark Fiber and infrastructure required for connectivity. Must be a self-motivator with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently. Must be able to work during normal business hours. May require occasional extended hours. Base Pay Range: $64,700 - $72,000 USD/annually, commensurate with experience.
