$10,000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine UW Medical Center - Northwest has an excellent opportunity for a Night Shift Float Nurse to join our Acute Care Float Pool.
SCHEDULE:
3x12 shift schedule
Night shifts (7:00pm - 7:30am)
Rotating weekend shifts required DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Our Float Pool provides short term and long term staffing coverage on our inpatient acute care units, which include our telemetry, medical-surgical, rehabilitation, behavioral health, and surgical services floors. In addition, our team provides nursing support in the Emergency Department. This is a great opportunity to provide bedside care in a role where no two shifts are alike. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Work alongside doctors, social workers, care managers, and therapists
Triage patient care priorities in collaboration with the nursing supervisor
Restore patients’ health by following evidence-based nursing practices
Identify care needs across a broad spectrum of departments
Monitor and administer medications and IVs
Provide personalized care with compassion, dignity, and respect MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BLS
1 year of acute inpatient hospital nursing experience
Prefer 1 year recent critical care experience
