The Role Palantir Technologies is seeking a Quality Engineer to support our rapidly growing life sciences business. You will continue to build and improve test frameworks. You will enable Palantir's Quality Management System (QMS) to meet regulatory requirements and support change and innovation. You'll drive improvements to GxP quality systems and processes through a software quality engineering lens. You will work closely with other functional departments within Palantir to further refine and scale testing frameworks throughout the organization. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and implements quality at every corner of the business. You have a background in software engineering, with a clear understanding of SDLC, developer tooling, and SaaS. You will also need to be innovative, collaborative, and receptive to feedback. The role and its surrounding organization aren't rigidly defined, so it's important that you can navigate an unstructured environment to fulfill critical business initiatives. Being able to develop interpersonal relationships with stakeholders across various teams will be key to being successful in this role. It will entail influencing existing processes by suggesting and driving change to champion quality-first principles. This is an opportunity to build something that will scale and support Palantir. Core Responsibilities Continue to develop testing framework in support of Palantir-wide QMS that lives under ISO 9001 and drives consolidation of process documentation and promotes process consistency at Palantir. Develop and maintain a Change Management software system atop Palantir Foundry that is adaptive to client requirements, whilst conforming to developer practices within Palantir. Periodically run Change Management meetings with key client POCs demonstrating proactive and retroactive changes to guide changes in client SOPs and trainings for client personnel. Periodically audit developer authored unit and integration tests and work with Product Development teams to ensure maximal code coverage. Run Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ) and guide Performance Qualification (PQ) of Palantir Foundry system. Establish and nurture inter-departmental relationships to drive key objectives such as socializing SOPs, conducting and enforcing training programs, negotiating release process with product development teams. Be the champion and advocate for ingrained quality across Palantir, work with product development and product reliability teams to implement GxP processes. Core responsibilities of this position will change overtime with evolving needs of the organization.
