Actalent Project Manager in Seattle, Washington

Project/Program Manager

Location: Onsite in Seattle, WA

Description:

  • Act as the liaison for construction projects

  • Provide overall communication to the team about construction activities

  • De-conflict any scheduling issues

  • Act as support to the construction manager and fill the gaps, as needed

  • Manage onsite small to medium sized projects and coordinate vendor/contractor work to ensure deadlines are met for project deliverables

  • Create and maintain schedule (e.g., deadlines), risks, and project status reports

  • Coordinate tasks and schedules across different functional teams and proactively identify any dependencies or triggers that may put the project schedule at risk

  • Identify project roadblocks, research and present root-cause analysis, and manage the path to resolution

  • Manage the space and inform others of conflicting plans for space

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations

  • Create/develop documentation and processes for internal team wikis and facility-related items, as needed, to support scaling

  • Drive and support training and improvement initiatives to optimize scaling of operations and team

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 4-5 years of experience managing projects

  • Degree in Project Management, Engineering or related technical field.

  • Project management experience in facility management, development, or construction environment

  • Experience leading high-impact, cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on-time, within budget, and in scope

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while navigating an ambiguous and fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • PMP certification

  • Proficient in MS Project, Asana, and/or other project management software

  • Excellent problem solving and root-cause analysis skills
