Blue Origin LLC Project Manager - Sourcing Strategy in Seattle, Washington

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented sourcing strategy project manager to join our team. As a sourcing strategy project manager, you will be responsible for analyzing our organization's current make and buy processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to optimize our make/buy/where decisions. Responsibilities Include but not limited to: Conduct research and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of our current sourcing strategy processes. Collaborate with Business Units across the Enterprise to understand their sourcing strategy needs and challenges. Facilitate discussions across the Enterprise to adjudicate sourcing strategy assessments and manage assessment workflows. Develop and implement sourcing strategies to enhance cost and schedule effectiveness. Monitor and evaluate sourcing strategy process performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Provide regular updates and reports on sourcing strategy initiatives to leadership and stakeholders. Support the implementation of new initiatives and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and conduct training sessions for Business Units and Stakeholders on current sourcing strategies processes. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Aptitude for ambiguity. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management. Demonstrates understanding and is able to apply continuous improvement terminology/tools: LEAN, Six Sigma principles/DFSS/Lean design principles, Value Stream, and Kaizen. Experience in aerospace research and development and manufacturing environments. Additional computer familiarity (SQL, Jira/ITS, Redash, Tableau, Windchill, MRP).
