Job Description
A Program Manager 2 is part of a key team of Technology professionals managing technical programs that deliver significant business value to Nordstrom and its customers. You will partner with internal stakeholders to develop, design, build and launch technology solutions. This position interacts with people in both business and technical roles to create specifications and resolve issues with an eye toward continuous improvement. This position works across department and functional lines on a variety of programs that range in scope, risk and complexity. Additionally, this role will be supporting our Technology Support Services group where this role will be interacting directly across multiple Technology teams to ensure support documentation is in place.
A day in the life…
Thoroughly understands the standards, concepts and principles of program management to solve practical needs of the business, while independently managing small to moderate programs
Proactively manages work execution through program dependencies, risks, schedules, budgets and understands the importance of requirements gathering, prioritization, and clear stakeholder communication
Uses data to report status, performance and communicates using fact-based and relevant data
Possesses awareness of technology (e.g. Cloud, APIs, services, Windows stack, open source, database technologies, etc.)
Applies engineering lifecycle knowledge to feature design, task estimation, design review, story creation, triage, schedule and performance standards
Reads basic code constructs, and understands estimates of effort to complete engineering work streams
You own this if you have…
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science or related experience required.
1+ years of Project management experience
Experience translating technical requirements into plans

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington: $103,000 - $188,500 Annually
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
