Zillow, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer for its Seattle, WA office.

Job Duties: Work closely with Senior Engineers on various backend microservices and the frontend. Design, implement, deploy, and maintain features and services used by hundreds of Connection Specialists. Work with cloud computing platforms and relational databases that will provide the support for a smooth platform and address concerns such as performance, reliability, scalability, availability, and security.  Telecommuting permitted.

Minimum Requirement: Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Three years of experience in: Designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded software; Data structures and algorithms; Designing microservices; and Software delivery timeline management.

Alternative Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in: Designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded software; Data structures and algorithms; Designing microservices; and Software delivery timeline management.
