Description
As a Principal Product Marketing Manager for Amazon Device Solutions (ADS), you will define and lead the marketing strategy and execution for our growing portfolio of B2B products, including digital signage solutions, smart office technologies, and associated software services. Working across Device and Services, AWS, Amazon Business, and Retail teams, you'll establish the vision for our product marketing organization and craft compelling go-to-market strategies that resonate with enterprise customers and drive business growth.
Your role is pivotal in establishing ADS as a leader in the multi-billion dollar B2B technology market. You'll shape our product narratives and positioning, build strategic marketing programs across all channels, and drive enterprise customer adoption at scale. Leading both short and long-term strategic planning, you'll define our go-to-market approach for new offerings and own the end-to-end customer journey. This executive-level role requires balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution to accelerate ADS's growth in the B2B space while building and mentoring a high-performing marketing team.
Key job responsibilities
Define and lead the comprehensive product marketing strategy and vision for ADS's B2B portfolio
Establish strategic alliances across Amazon's B2B-focused businesses to create joint GTM opportunities
Drive executive-level decisions through market insights, competitive analysis, and business impact assessments
Create the framework for product positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies across all product lines
Lead the development of thought leadership content and marketing programs that establish ADS as a B2B technology leader
Design and scale multi-channel marketing initiatives that drive enterprise customer acquisition and retention
Own marketing budget and resource allocation across the organization
Define success metrics and build mechanisms to measure and optimize marketing effectiveness
Establish best practices for product launches and go-to-market execution across teams
Build relationships with key industry analysts and influencers to shape market perception
Create scalable processes for market research, customer insights, and competitive intelligence

A day in the life
Your day as a Principal Product Marketing Manager at ADS might start with an executive review of our B2B marketing strategy and growth metrics. Mid-morning, you could be leading a cross-organizational meeting to align AWS, Amazon Business, and Device teams on joint GTM initiatives.
After lunch, you might mentor your team on developing enterprise-focused campaigns while providing strategic guidance on product positioning. Later, you could meet with industry analysts to share ADS's vision and gather market insights.
You might end your day collaborating with Product leadership to shape the future direction of our B2B portfolio. Throughout, you'll balance strategic leadership with organizational development, driving both business results and team growth.

Basic Qualifications
10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
Experience guiding creative input, development and execution from concept to completion
5+ years marketing technical solutions to senior enterprise or public sector customers
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale
Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research
MBA or advanced degree
Experience marketing digital signage, IoT, or enterprise hardware and software technology solutions
Experience with Education, Retail, Corporate, Hospitality, and other vertical customers
Experience with system integrator or reseller co-marketing
Track record of scaling marketing organizations in high-growth environments
Deep understanding of B2B customer segments and buying behaviors
Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
Experience building and mentoring high-performing marketing teams
Knowledge of Amazon's enterprise technology ecosystem
Proven ability to drive results in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
This role requires up to 25% travel for customer visits and industry events

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
