Amazon Principal Product Manager - Technical, Amazon Seller Wallet in Seattle, Washington

Description

You will be the General Manager for an expanding, international payments business that spans across multiple countries. You will be responsible for building and growing the business and product roadmap.

Key job responsibilities

You will manage a team of product and program managers to define and deliver a roadmap and program enhancements. You will actively manage a P&L, and partner with dedicated functional teams to optimize the business. This include data science, engineering, marketing, sales, operations, finance, legal, compliance, and other Amazon teams. You will also manage the overall strategy and partnerships with external partners such as banks and payment service providers.

A day in the life

Every day will be different, depending on the needs of the business. You will have full autonomy to decide what the right thing is to do, and when to do it - you will own collaboration with partner teams, escalate where needed, and actively build towards your defined north star.

The mission of Amazon Currency Converter is to enable customers and sellers to pay and get paid in their preferred currency, and method. We value hire and develop, leading with empathy, and a good sense of humor.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience technical product management

  • Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
