Are you interested in joining the Technology, Sourcing and Infrastructure (TSI) space inside Amazon’s eCommerce Foundation? If so, this job aligns perfect as our team is responsible for all aspects related to IT Asset Management and Business Operations. We are seeking a Principal Product Manager, Asset Management to be a product lead for the corporate asset management systems. You will conceptualize and lead new, large product initiatives to define the long-term strategy and vision to meet emerging customer needs. You will handle complex product development and business management scenarios, proactively identifying gaps/opportunities to then develop a suite of products to solve the problems. You will be responsible for full Product lifecycle management from conception to delivery and support. You will define a data-driven product vision, develop business requirements, define success criteria and KPI’s, prioritize competing opportunities, groom, and own and maintain product roadmaps.
You will work directly with engineering teams to build exceptional products. In this role you will be responsible for scoping and delivering large projects end-to-end. As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for gathering customer requirements, define the strategy for the product(s), planning, implementing, and driving initiatives that improve our product offerings. You’ll work with cross functional teams/orgs to understand their pain points, learn and expand your knowledge, as well as share your own expertise. You will work closely with TPMs and SDMs to plan the annual planning cycles for new features and product launches. The ideal candidate should possess strong product management and analytical skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, a work ethic based on a desire to exceed expectations, and excellent interpersonal skills including written and oral communication. You will be responsible for creating working backwards documents, requirement documents, deep dive with data and provide hypothesis.
Key job responsibilities
Responsible for full Product lifecycle management from conception to delivery and support
Define a data-driven product vision, develop business requirements, define success criteria and KPI’s, prioritize competing opportunities, groom, and own and maintain product roadmaps.
Work directly with engineering teams to build exceptional products.
Partner with other teams across Amazon Product and engineering teams to identify dependencies and influence development of new products and services.
Understand customer (external and internal) needs, define clear project plans, and execute high expectations in a fast-paced environment.
Interact with stakeholders at multiple levels and in multiple locations, working with business, operations, technical and BI teams to define and deliver solutions.
Collection of VoC (Voice of the customer data) through usability studies, surveys, focus groups and 1:1 interviews
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and make tradeoffs to balance business needs versus technical or operational constraints.
Collaborate with global stakeholders in other regions to define requirements that support international use cases.
Define user stories and product requirements; while contributing to the technical design of new product features.
Creation of a go-to market plan that includes business partner approvals, (legal, privacy, and accessibility) and development of a rollout communication campaigns

-Implement and manage 3P products around hardware and software asset management
-Prioritization skills using a weighted metrics to evaluate the value and effort of feature requests
-Use effective communication skills both written and verbally, and consistent communication with various functional groups, developers, business owners, and senior business leaders
-Work through ambiguity to continuously deliver incremental results
-General knowledge and ability to implement GenAI features to optimize the user experience, leverage automation, and learn from customer behavior
-Knowledge of Six Sigma and iterative methodologies
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
