We're seeking a Principal Product Manager to revolutionize how merchants sell on Amazon, creating innovative solutions that will shape the future of e-commerce.

As a Principal Product Manager in the Selling Partner Services (SPS) organization, you will lead the transformation of Amazon's seller experience. You'll own the product vision and roadmap for reinventing how millions of global sellers interact with, grow, and scale their businesses on Amazon. You will have exciting opportunities to experiment on the current experience and spend time looking around corners to help define the selling experience of the future. This is a highly visible role that will interact across the SPS organization and its many global partners.

Key job responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term strategic vision for next-generation seller experiences

• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that dramatically improve seller success

• Partner with engineering, design, research, and business teams across Amazon to build scalable, global solutions

• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate processes while driving operational excellence

• Develop metrics and analytics frameworks to measure success and drive data-informed decisions

• Mentor other product managers and influence senior leadership on strategic direction

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

  • 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Experience owning customer-facing product roadmap strategy, quantifying and prioritizing features, and making high judgement decisions that are well articulated to senior leaders

  • MBA preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
