Amazon A+ Content helps Selling Partners succeed in the Amazon Store with immersive, visually stunning content experiences intended to showcase their brand story and additional product feature information that can help Customers make informed purchase decisions. We are a global program with a scaled portfolio of feature functionality, and we continuously work to implement intuitive user experiences intended to help Selling Partners deliver the best possible CX, while also striving for operational excellence. We are looking for a customer obsessed Principal Product Manager - Technical to join our team to shape our long-term CX strategy for A+ brand marketing content across the shopping journey in the Amazon Store.

We are looking for someone with broad experience in ecommerce brand marketing, strong creative and business acumen, who takes ownership of their work, and is focused on customer needs. The successful candidate will have an ability to make data-driven conclusions and will be comfortable with ambiguity while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The candidate will need to be a collaborator who can work with internal (e.g. UX designers/ researchers, Product Managers, and Data Engineers) and external (e.g. creative agencies, brand marketers) to define and implement a CX strategy that will yield benefits to Amazon customers around the world. They will also need to be able communicate crisply to executive audience. The ideal candidate is passionate about brand marketing and has experience building and scaling related products.

In this role you will,

  • Partner with UX designers, product managers, engineers, and data scientists to define the long-term CX for A+ brand marketing content

  • Dive deep into data to understand which content formats resonate most with customers and identify opportunities to improve and refine the portfolio of creative formats offered to brands

  • Lead the design and development of creative formats that align with our goals to enhance brand curated shopping experience across the user journey

  • Conduct market research and analysis to learn about trends, competitive landscape, and shopper preferences across e-commerce and social media channels

  • Design and conduct A/B tests of content strategies, and leverage insights to refine content strategies and introduce innovative approaches to shopping experiences

  • Establish and manage relationships with other CX teams to align on a cohesive brand shopping experience across Amazon Stores WW

  • Demonstrate strong bias for action; ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience technical product management

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

  • Experience in building and scaling technical products for brand building and marketing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
