See our YouTube video on Sales Engineering at Motorola Solutions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVzigMweYvo&feature=youtu.beJob Description In this role, the Presales Systems Engineer will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of complex Land Mobile Radio (LMR) communication systems, from initial concept through implementation and beyond. You will be a key player in shaping customer relationships, driving technical solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Customer-Centric Design: Collaborate with clients to deeply understand their needs and translate them into innovative and tailored radio communication solutions. Technical Leadership: Develop technical strategies, present compelling solutions to customers, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of radio systems, RF, and networking. Technical Expertise: Apply your expertise in areas such as coverage and antenna site selection, frequency planning, interference analysis, and system architecture design. Presales Expertise: Design solutions including equipment selection and configuration, develop and write detailed proposal content and showcase solutions to customers. Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Industry Advocacy: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring that Motorola Solutions remains at the forefront of innovation. Qualifications: Active US Service Military Member with the ability to gain approval for the DoD SkillBridge Program. Significant experience (5+ years) in designing, implementing, and managing complex radio communication systems. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment. Proven ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise communication for both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail. Strong project management and leadership skills, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Demonstrated expertise in areas such as radio systems, RF, wireless, broadband, microwave, networking, MPLS, Ethernet, TCP/IP. Experience working with and managing customer relationships, building trust, and exceeding expectations. Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA, and/or Amateur Radio/HAM are a plus. #LI-RO1 The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 depending on experience Basic Requirements Active US Service Military Member with the ability to gain approval for the DoD SkillBridge Program.
