Beacon Hill Staffing Group Payroll Administrator Seattle, Washington

We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Payroll Administrator to take full ownership of our payroll processing in a contract-to-hire capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll for our core team of 23-24 employees, along with seasonal payroll processing. This is a key position within our organization, requiring accuracy and efficiency in handling payroll for both hourly, salary, and monthly employees. Key Responsibilities: * Payroll Processing: Manage bi-weekly payroll for both our core staff and seasonal employees, ensuring accurate calculations for all employees, including hourly, salaried, and monthly pay structures. * Payroll Tax Compliance: Ensure proper tax calculations for varying pay frequencies and job-cost allocations per boat. * Garnishments & Deductions: Process wage garnishments and other required deductions in a timely manner. * Reporting & Reconciliation: Generate, upload, and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency across all payroll cycles. * Seasonal Adjustments: Manage increased payroll volume during peak seasons and provide cross-training and support during slower months (Nov-Dec). * System Management: Maintain and optimize payroll processing in Paylocity to improve efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications: * Experience with payroll processing, preferably with a focus on seasonal payroll or varying pay frequencies. * Strong understanding of payroll tax compliance and deductions. * Familiarity with Paylocity or other payroll systems is a plus. * Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. * Strong communication and collaborative abilities.
