DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION : The General Internal Medicine Center at UW Medical Center - Roosevelt provides comprehensive primary care for adult patients, including preventive medicine services, assessment and treatment of acute medical problems and monitoring and treatment of chronic diseases. We are a dynamic teaching clinic, focused on providing patient-centered care grounded in the best available medical evidence.

Our mental healthcare professionals provide a range of services including psychiatric consultations, medication management and recommendations for continued psychiatric care. You can also access many specialized care services in this location, making this a convenient place to get the coordinated care UW Medicine is known for.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging

  • Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments

  • Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information

  • Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery REQUIREMENTS

  • High school graduation or equivalent AND

  • One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR
