  • Opportunity to provide career growth DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Endocrine Care Center at UW Medical Center-Roosevelt offers a complete set of treatment, education and support services to diagnose and treat endocrine conditions.Our board-certified physicians treat a variety of thyroid, adrenal and calcium disorders; osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases; male and female reproductive disorders; and polycystic ovary syndrome.The endocrine tumor program provides advanced specialty care for patients with benign and malignant disease of the thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal glands. UW Medicine has the only endocrine tumor program in the region that offers dosimetry for radioactive iodine as a treatment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Patient Services Specialists and other assigned staff, and perform the work of the other Patient Services Specialist levels

  • Direct, schedule and assist in the training of staff; provide feedback to supervisor on staff's performance

  • Monitors daily performance dashboard; call waiting, queues, abandon rate and ensures daily work complete and accurate

  • Identify and resolve problems or unusual situations; recommend changes as necessary

  • Monitor and evaluate policies and procedures to suggest operational changes

  • Assists in the preparation and maintenance of provider and clinic schedules

  • Perform the work of the Patient Services Specialist 1, 2, and 3 REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Three years of Patient Support Service experience OR
