Amazon Games is seeking a highly talented and motivated Operations Specialist to join our Live Operations team. In this role you will :

In this role you will:

• Work closely with leadership, production and development teams to facilitate cross-org communication and collaboration around procurement and vendor management

• Partner with legal and finance to execute agreements and purchase orders

• Coordinate onboarding efforts across teams to ensure new vendors have an A+ experience

• Manage org-wide initiatives regarding software and hardware procurement and distribution for our teams

• Dive deep into Amazon systems for billing, onboarding, procurement, accruals and security reviews.

• Increase visibility into procurement process for business leads and production.

You will have great communication and prioritization skills with a clear focus on providing the best possible customer experience. The ability to be self-directed, while still providing excellent service to partners, is critical.

Key job responsibilities

• Collaborate with Game Producers, Technology Leads and Quality Assurance leads to ensure their focus can remain on development.

• Collaborate with peers to continuously improve our procurement, vendor management and onboarding processes so they are as efficient as possible and result in high quality experiences with both our internal and external processes.

• Generate detailed workflow documentation that articulates how to onboard new vendors and contractors, and how to manage the procurement and vendor management processes end to end.

• Translate customer requirements into specific tasks and work with department leadership to ensure appropriate prioritization

• Collect, prioritize, track, and drive customer-reported issues to resolution/closure

• Partner with stakeholders and cross-functional partners to identify, document, and communicate project/program scope, schedule, risks, and issues in multiple time zones

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • 3+ years of Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
