Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Network Engineer I in Seattle, Washington. This role is centered around the development, implementation, and maintenance of network communications, primarily dealing with LAN/WAN systems. You will be part of a team that designs and installs internal and external networks, ensuring their optimal performance.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the design and installation of internal and external network systems.

• Applying your knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to enhance network communications.

• Carrying out tests on network systems to identify and resolve potential issues.

• Making improvements to network systems based on test evaluations.

• Maintaining familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the networking field.

• Using limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish network-related goals.

• Undertaking a variety of tasks related to network management and maintenance.

• Working under general supervision to carry out network-related tasks.

• Employing creativity and latitude in your approach to network management.

• Supervising network communications and making necessary adjustments. Requirements • Strong communication skills for clear, concise sharing of complex technical information.

• Advanced planning and organization abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficient in developing and implementing procedures for efficient network operations.

• Demonstrated knowledge in network design and architecture.

• Proven experience in supervising and leading a team of network professionals.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly and effectively.

• Deep understanding of various types of networks including LAN, WAN, and IAN.

• Expertise in networking principles, practices, and technologies.

• Willingness to provide onsite support when necessary.

• Creativity in problem-solving and innovation in network solutions.

• Familiarity with WAN technologies and switching protocols.

• Competency in managing and maintaining network systems.

• Knowledge of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and its applications.
