New Shepard is a reusable suborbital rocket system designed to take astronauts and research payloads past the Karman line - the internationally recognized boundary of space. Through operational reusability, New Shepard supports our mission of lowering the cost of access to space. As part of a hardworking team of diverse engineers, you will beresponsible for planning, managing, and performing acceptance test campaigns on individual components and assemblies that are mechanical, actuated, hydraulic, pneumatic, and/or cryogenic. You will author and maintain detailed test procedures, perform test readiness reviews and pre-test briefings, and conduct data reviews to verify the success of the test campaigns. Work closely with design engineers to identify test requirements, with operations engineers to incorporate tests into the appropriatetest stands, and with technicians to execute the procedures you author. You will identify the test fixtures, test support equipment, and data acquisition systems required for your testing scope and work with tooling and equipment designers as necessary todesign and procure this hardware. You will drive efficiency gains in testing activities to increase testing throughput while maintaining a high standard of quality and prioritizing the safety of you and your teammates above all else. You will share in the team's impact on manufacturing, testing, and delivering hardware for New Shepard. Qualifications: Minimum of a B.S. degree in an engineering field (aerospace, mechanical, electrical, or physicsdesired). Experiencein testing and data analysis, specifically of pneumatic, cryogenic, mechanical, and/or hydraulic hardware. Experience leading test teams as a Test Conductor or Test Engineer, prioritizing test equipment, personnel, and schedule on top of test execution Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standards, and technical requirements Strong safety mentality and experience, including hands-on experience planning and conducting hazardous or critical operations Understanding of fluid components such as valves, regulators, actuators, servo-valves, seals, and fittings; including precision cleansystems Knowledge of test instrumentation and control components: pressure transducers, thermocouples, RTDs, strain gauges, accelerometers, flow meters, load cells, relays, solenoid valves, power supplies Proven familiarity with data reduction and processing techniques Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: Experience designing, building, and integrating electronic test equipment on test stands or consoles that interact with systems Experience with Environmental Testing (proof, leak, vibration, thermal, etc.) per SMC-S-016,MIL-STD-1540 or MIL-STD-810 Familiarity with typical aerospace vehicle pressure systems and structure manufacturing technologies Experience developing hazard analyses for system operations or maintenance Experience with 3D CAD, data management, and configuration management. Experienced with high-pressure system d
