Blue Origin LLC Manufacturing Engineer II - Rocket Engine Combustion Devices (C Shift) in Seattle, Washington

As part of a hardworking, accomplished team of rocket engine combustion devices engineers, you will lead a group of manufacturing engineers (MEs) in daily support of Main Injector builds. You will work closely with the design engineering team, manufacturing technicians, and the operations team to ensure timely deliveries in support of our BE-4 engine. As the team lead, you will assist in management of the ME team to drive strategic continuous improvement efforts in conjunction with scheduled deliveries. Through your technical skill and passion for developing individuals, you will have a lasting impact on both the BE-4 program and the development of your teammates. Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience Full time employee of Blue Origin with at least 1 year of experience with the company Experience leading other engineers on a project basis Proven track record of meeting commitments and delivering results in an environment of multiple priorities Demonstrated operational excellence in implementing manufacturing process improvements Hands on experience with relevant hardware manufacturing processes (i.e. castings, forgings, additively manufactured components, welding, machining, cleaning, non-destructive testing methods, tight tolerance assembly, leak testing, final acceptance testing of integrated hardware) Familiarity implementing new or improved tooling to aid manufacture, assembly, and testing Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
