The Amazon.ca Consumables team is looking for a talented, smart, and experienced leader to lead the Instock and Supply Chain team. This leader owns business plans and oversees the supply chain and inventory management for the fast-growing Canada Consumables business. From a supply chain perspective, you will manage the day-to-day supply chain operations of the business and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve the customer experience and overall cost structure of the businesses. This role will manage a team of at least 4 direct reports.
The successful candidate will communicate effectively across teams and levels, while balancing the needs and requirements of internal and external customers. They will be relentlessly focused on improving the customer experience. Flexibility and the ability to prioritize in a changing business environment will also be key. Key job responsibilities
Manage inventory availability, inventory health and forecasting as well as inbound / other parts of the supply chain.
Monitor, analyze and own key performance indicators such as out of stock, lead time, fill rate, forecast accuracy, turns, and overstock.
Develop and drive key cost savings initiatives with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, while meeting tight deadlines.
Manage a team including supply chain managers.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Superior analytical skills and willingness to roll up sleeves to get it done
6+ years experience in vendor management, consulting, finance, supply chain or other relevant fields
Strong proficiency in data and analysis tools including Microsoft Excel and SQL
Experience successfully coaching and developing others
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, or advanced degrees in Operations Management, Mathematics/Engineering
Experience in building and managing teams
Demonstrated ability to set a strategy and manage multiple projects - prioritization, planning and task delegation
Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast paced environment
Ability to problem solve creatively by adapting frameworks or existing best practices

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $126,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $208,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
