Amazon International Indirect Tax Manager, Digital and Devices in Seattle, Washington

Description

Join our innovative Digital and Devices tax team to shape the future of global technology services. You will provide strategic international indirect tax guidance for innovative digital products and services that reach millions of customers worldwide.

Key job responsibilities

  • Provide international indirect tax advice to support current and future digital offerings across global markets

  • Partner with business teams to provide tax guidance for expansions and restructurings

  • Formulate and implement international indirect tax strategies aligned with business objectives

  • Collaborate with global tax and finance teams to ensure coordinated cross-functional solutions

  • Engage with external advisors and stakeholders on complex international tax matters

A day in the life

In this collaborative role, you will work closely with diverse stakeholders to provide practical tax guidance that enables business growth. You'll analyze complex scenarios, develop innovative solutions, and communicate recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

About the team

We support Amazon's Digital and Devices businesses, including entertainment, smart home, and emerging technology initiatives. Our team is helping to expand digital access globally through innovative projects like satellite-based broadband services. Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level

  • Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of maintaining and operating transaction tax calculation software (e.g. Vertex) experience

  • Experience with VBA, Python, SQL, or other database language

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $80,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $172,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
