Blue Origin LLC Integration Technician (2nd Shift) in Seattle, Washington

As part of a hardworking team of diverse technicians, you will be working directly with flight hardware for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of reaching the goal of millions of people living and working in space. You will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and supporting testing of hardware for various spaceflight systems. This includes supporting production and development related activities that directly affect rocket launch vehicles and spacecraft. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and will require your dedicated commitment and detailed attention towards safe and repeatable spaceflight. Qualifications: 5+ years' experience in aerospace or related fields Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills Ability to communicate differing opinions in a collaborative environment without conflict among other team members Ability to use standard mechanical tools, fabrication shop equipment and the capability to drill and prepare close tolerance holes for fastener installation is required A&P license or equivalent experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration Knowledge in the use of 3-D CAD tools to view models for assembly Ability to read and interpret drawings and standards Ability to support Monday through Thursday 2nd shift (B shift) 3pm - 1:30am and additional weekend overtime as requested. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Desired: 10+ years of experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and vehicle integration Experience with composite and metallic structure fabrication such as precision drilling, cutting, and assembly Experience with installation and maintenance of avionic instrumentation and harness assemblies Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight-critical hardware Familiarity with tube fabrication (bend, flare, fittings, etc) and pressurized system safety Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $35.77-$49.73 Other site ranges may differ Inclusivity Statement Don't meet all desired requirements?
