Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry We are currently seeking a Functional Training Program Specialist to join our growing Operational Excellence team. In this role, you will ensure training delivery and instructional development are aligned to create and deliver creative, job-specific functional training for business operations and project delivery individuals. If you have 3- 5 years of experience in a relevant learning and development role, take initiative, and are a problem solver, then this may be the position for you. In this role, you will: Training Program Management: As a Functional Training Program Specialist, you will develop and deliver a comprehensive portfolio of training solutions for our business operations and project delivery teams. Strong communication skills will take you far in this role as you leverage strong consulting skills to assess, prioritize, develop and deliver innovative learning solutions to aid the business in strategic initiatives and future growth. You will also build and maintain learning paths for various staff and field positions. Additional responsibilities include: Training Project Coordination Assist with various training projects including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, and achieving reliable results. Assist with the assessment, development and implementation of innovative learning solutions that assist the business to meet strategic initiatives and future growth. Assist with content creation and design as needed. Arrange and execute the logistics for training sessions (invites, event planning, sourcing of meals, preparation of materials) Program and LMS Administration Responsible for LMS administration to include: Updating and maintaining learning paths for various staff and field positions; o Tracking training completion for employees in those roles. o Maintaining Learning Centers and reporting. Measure training effectiveness and plan continuous improvement efforts. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated ability to anticipate and manage change in a highly dynamic environment. Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and focus on quality required. Demonstrated abilities as a creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for excellent customer service. 3-5 years' experience in a relevant learning and development field such as instructional design, education, learning and development, LMS administration, training organizational development. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel). Advanced excel is preferred. Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail. Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication abilities including collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders. Ability to thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done.
