The Embassy Suites has 282 guest rooms andnearly15,000square feetof eventspace. They are steps away from football and soccer games at Lumen Field and less than a half mile from baseball at T-Mobile Park. Union Station is a block east for easy access to attractions, like Int'l District, the Space Needle and Pike Place. The propertyalso has a health club inclusive of a heated indoor pool, sun deck, and equipmentincluding a Peloton® Bike with toe cages. They also provide a free breakfast and complimentary evening reception.

The ideal candidate for this role willpossess:At least 3 years of supervisory or management experience within food and beverage, the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays, guest focused attitude, and bar experiencey to fluently speak, read, and write in Englishrequired.

The hourly pay is between $32-$35 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?

As a Food and Beverage Manager, you wouldbe responsible formanaging,directingand organizing the activities and services of the hotel food and beverage outlets (restaurant, lounge, room service, coffee shop, etc.) to deliver an excellent guest experience. Specifically, you wouldbe responsible forperforming the following tasks to the highest standards:

Assistin the management of operations to include, but not limited to, guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, marketing initiatives, systems use and management, budgeting and forecasting, department management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation

Assistin monitoring and developing team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting counselling andevaluationsand delivering recognition and reward

Assistin monitoring and assessing product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly

Ensure compliance with health, safety,sanitationand alcohol awareness standards

Assistin initiating and implementing marketing and up-selling techniques to promote restaurant food and beverage and services and to maximize overall revenue

Assistin recruiting,interviewingand training team members

Act in the absence of the Director of Food & Beverage, as needed
