As part of a unique and highly skilled team, you'll participate in building the road to space. You will join the Engines Finance team and partner with stakeholders in engineering, procurement, supply chain, and test operations to contribute to the growth and success of Blue Origin's Engine Programs. In this hands-on role, you will drive performance improvement and predictability. We are seeking a proactive, detail- and service-oriented analyst with excellent financial skills, analytical ability, and interpersonal skills who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and handles ambiguity with confidence. You will be responsible for the financial management of an Engine program and serve as an operational partner. This role will provide critical financial insights and analysis to business leaders and key stakeholders. You'll help build scalable financial processes and tools to support growth and efficiency within the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Drive financial performance by developing operating and financial metrics, analyzing results and trends to create insights, reporting results to Engines program leadership Support the annual and financial planning activities by anticipating business changes and spotting trends, getting key partners aligned on material inputs, completing input models, and ensuring all planning and reporting data is accurately reflected in financial systems Work side by side with program stakeholders to strengthen and streamline development finance reporting processes and systems. Identify gaps, propose, and drive improvements by developing automated applications for data aggregation and reporting to drive engine unit-cost reductions. Support month-end close processes including the analysis and reporting of financial results, ensuring the completeness of material financial accounting entries such as cost and revenue accruals Work closely with Program Planning and Cost organization to develop and analyze cost performance measurement baselines, including earned value management performance KPIs Skills and Abilities: Strong information systems foundational knowledge and curiosity about rapidly gaining technical proficiency using enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools Advanced Excel financial modeling skills Ability to optimally manage multiple, large-scale projects and dynamically shift focus and prioritize when needed Highly collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build an internal and external professional relationship Strong analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills; proven success in delivering business value through applying innovative and analytical, problem-solving techniques The highest levels of integrity, unquestionable ethics, and excellent judgment Minimum Qualifications Successfully completed an internship with Blue Origin in 2024.
