Job Description

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to support Director-level executives in the Software Builder Experience organization. The successful candidate will possess solid organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple critical requests across global teams. This role requires a detail-oriented and experienced planner with the ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, composure, and a good sense of humor.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities, and calendars.

  • Manage complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritize executive tasks and appointments according to their importance, urgency, and relevance.

  • Act as a liaison for direct reports and business stakeholders.

  • Coordinate extensive travel arrangements, both international and domestic.

  • Participate in the planning of events and drive key team activities such as staff meetings, all-hands meetings, and supply ordering.

  • Work alongside other executive assistants within the organization and throughout our services to drive best practices and cross-collaboration of efficiencies.

Essential Skills

  • 6 years of experience supporting senior management (VPs, Senior VPs, or CEOs).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook tools.

  • Solid organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

  • Ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance.

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

  • Professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside the company.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of EA experience (can include a combination of EA, admin, recruiting, HR experience).

  • Advanced degree preferred but candidates with strong industry experience will be considered.

  • Preferred: 3-4+ years in EA roles, space/office management experience, former Amazon experience, and event planning experience.

  • Experience in calendar management and administrative support.

Work Environment

This role is fully onsite in Seattle. The environment is fast-paced with opportunities to learn and develop within AWS. Every day offers different challenges and there is potential for conversion. The organization has recently returned to the office, so experience with space and office management is beneficial.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
