Amazon Executive Assistant AWS, Global Deal Strategy and Programs in Seattle, Washington

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a multi-functional, global team and will support the Vice President of Private Pricing for AWS. This role requires attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple critical requests across global teams. The Executive Assistant will act as a seamless extension of the VP’s office and will work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, composure and confidentiality.

The individual in this role must understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements to build capacity for the leadership team. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture. The ideal candidate must be able to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group.

Key job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include:

•Manage high volume and highly complex calendar scheduling across multiple and global locations.

•Manage domestic and international travel.

•Manage expense report coordination and submission.

•Organize and manage meetings all-hands, off-sites and team-based events.

•Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items.

•Act as a liaison for direct reports.

•Manage team space, including moves and reconfigurations.

•Understand business priorities and proactively look for ways to improve processes to create efficiency and scale.

•Review and copy-edit documents, communications, and presentations with accuracy.

•Support and manage small to medium projects based on organizational needs and professional development interests

•Build relationships and work collaboratively with Executive Assistants throughout the team and across the company.

•Travel may be required up to 15%

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of senior level leadership support experience

  • Experience managing C-level executive calendars

  • Experience with domestic or international travel coordination

  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of senior level leadership support experience

  • Experience with complex end-to-end project management across multiple organizations

  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to improve processes to maximize efficiency

  • Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing others

  • Experience leading strategic business objectives and effectively influencing leaders, peers, stakeholders, and org(s).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $176,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
